Over the past two decades, the Skate Park has become a hub of positive influence, impacting numerous lives. Each year, hundreds of kids frequent the park, participating in various activities that foster community and spiritual growth. The Tuesday evening Bible study draws between 10 to 35 kids and even some adults weekly, complemented by the engaging Vacation Bible School sessions held during the summer.
Throughout the year, ministry-driven events enrich the calendar, highlighted by the annual skate park competition during Country Days, typically held on the first weekend in June. At the heart of these initiatives are Norman and Sherry Kissinger, the dedicated skate park managers. Norm and Sherry are a constant presence, providing not just supervision but also invaluable mentoring, along with offering nourishment in the form of food and drinks for the youth.
Their commitment and involvement exemplify a steadfast dedication to nurturing young lives within the community, creating a space where both recreation and spiritual development flourish.
