Michael and his family made the move to Farmington in 2021 to take on pastoring a church in Ironton, MO. With his wife of 23 years by his side, they’ve tackled many different ministry roles over the past decade. All these experiences have led him to the exciting role of directing Young Faith in Christ. Michael’s passion for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ is at the heart of everything he does. He lives by the words of C.T. Studd’s poem: “Only one life, ’twill soon be past; only what’s done for Christ will last.” When he’s not busy with ministry, Michael enjoys a simple and quiet life with his family, especially cherishing moments with his first granddaughter. He can’t wait to hear her call him “Grandfather” with a British accent! If he had to choose one person and one place to be, it would be his wife and anywhere they could be together. For downtime, he loves going for walks with his family or diving into one of the many books in his library.

Fairlight is dedicated to helping disillusioned young students find stability and freedom in Christ. Her journey began after her father left his faith and family, leading her to explore the transformative power of the Gospel and investigate the claims of Jesus. She has invested extensive time studying theology, evidence for God, and establishing godly boundaries for Christian families through programs like Ellerslie Discipleship Training School and Summit Ministries. Outside of her studies and ministry, Fairlight values time with her husband, Abe, and enjoys outdoor activities, music, and serving on the worship team at Parkland Chapel.
